“Thank You For Choosing The Balcony Club”

That’s the phrase used by the club’s original pianist and entertainer G.T. Reed as he closed every performance when the club opened in 1988 in the loft above the historic Lakewood Theater. Mr. Reed is gone now, but the East Dallas landmark club still shows the same appreciation for its patrons and live music, which now plays seven nights a week. Read more here

Despite the demise of the Lakewood Theater, The Balcony Club still serves up live music and stiff drinks seven nights a week. Open 5pm to 2am.
